Experience
Allen and Barbara Simpson have over 10 years
experience as owners of Rolling Meadows Academy of Dog Training. As one of
North Carolina's most trusted names in dog training, boarding and doggie
daycare we are highly recommended by many veterinarians, humane societies,
rescue groups, groomers, clients and public officials, including NC State
Senator, Stan Bingham. We are proud of the reputation we've developed, and
intend to maintain the same high quality pet dog training and services for
all of our customers!
Professionalism
In addition to our training skills and experience, there is another
important aspect to our business longevity. We recognize that professional
customer service is a very important part of our over all success.
Clients, dogs, and their families are always treated with the utmost respect
and professionalism. All phone calls are handled in a courteous, informative
manner with no high pressure sales techniques. When a message is left for
us, calls are returned promptly. Clients are always encouraged to phone in
between lessons if they have questions, and we take pride in being on time
for appointments.
Community Service
We enjoy being involved in our community! We're doing our best to be valued
members of the local volunteer pet rescue societies, scouts, church, family,
and school communities!
We participate regularly in annual community festivals and charitable
events, including: Denton Community activities, The Lexington Barbecue
Festival, community Dog Bite Prevention seminars, as well as a multitude of
community events, & numerous rescue organization fundraisers. On a volunteer
basis, The Simpson's perform free dog bite prevention seminars at area
Cub/Girl Scout meetings, YMCA's and local schools, as well as providing
fundraiser doggie festivals for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
throughout the Randolph and Davidson County communities. Free or reduced
price training is often provided for rescue organizations to improve
adoptability, maintain placement, or evaluate dogs, and we was even elected
as the official trainers for the NC Prison Systems 'New Leash On Life
Program'.
We are dog trainers because we truly care about dogs and people. By
preventing or alleviating behavior problems, more people are able to keep
and enjoy their dogs. Fewer dogs end up being passed from home to home,
winding up in shelters, or even worse. In addition to training, we educate
our clients on the importance of spay/neutering, keeping up with vaccines
and licensing. Our clients are encouraged to adopt dogs from shelters or
rescue groups. Those considering a breeder are educated on what to look for
in a reputable breeder. We give a 10% discount to Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire
or rescued dogs.
Other Experience
The Simpson's have been interviewed as dog training and behavior specialist
many times in various media including: Fox 8 News, Channel 12 News, the
Denton Orator, the Davidson County Dispatch, the Asheboro Courier Tribune
and many more.

County Community College, as well as at veterinary offices, private groups,
schools, and youth programs. The Simpson's have provided dogs for movies
including National Lampoons 'Something About Frank', as well as an NC
documentary at the NC College of Arts. Allen writes freelance articles
for numerous websites and designed and regularly updates this as well as
several other dog related websites.

including the New York City Police Department (NYPD). Many
