3 Week Sleepover
VIP (Very
Important Pets)
In-School obedience
training is available in our home on a limited basis. Guests
are treated as family members, and every effort is made to ensure an
enjoyable and stress free stay. For those dogs staying for the
sleepover, they get their own individual room (in our home),
complete with all their luxuries brought from home. Sleepover guests
get to participate in all doggie daycare activities from 7:00 am until
the last pick-up at 7:00 pm. This service is an ideal option for dogs
that may have a difficult time adjusting to a boarding kennel, and for
owner’s who prefer a more personal environment for their companion. A
stay in our home might be compared to a “Bed & Breakfast”. Every
effort is made to stick closely to your dog’s daily routine, as
consistency reduces stress. Guests are exercised twice daily, and have
the option of playing with other dogs if they desire. In-School
Sleepover guests are constantly working on obedience and behavior
skills throughout the day, given ample personal attention, and good
manners are always encouraged.

Doggie Day School program to teach basic obedience and etiquette such
as; name recognition, sit, down, come, wait, leave it, drop it and loose

time separate from the playgroup with a trainer. After the lesson your
dog will be returned to the playgroup to hang out with friends.

Rolling Meadows Academy
Group Obedience &
Etiquette Classes
"Public
School For Dogs"
Great starts lead to fantastic finishes!
Enroll in our Group Classes anytime! You will never have to
wait to start a group training class again. Our unique, revolutionary
courses lets you attend classes at your own pace.
Our Group Classes are taught
in 8 week sessions. Each class meets once a week for 1 hour. 'The
Motivational Method' is a step-by-step process, where each week builds on
the previous week. During class, the instructor will teach you how to train
your dog to do the steps for that week. Your ultimate success will depend on
the training sessions your dog receives at home throughout the week. You
will be provided with written "homework sheets" to help guide you through
your training at home.
Everybody comes to class with
different goals for their dogs. Our Basic Obedience & Etiquette Classes
provide a solid foundation, whether your goal is a well mannered pet or
ultimately an advanced obedience competition title. Just as the weekly
classes build on one another, there are 3 levels of obedience classes which
progress through more and more advanced levels of training.
After 8 classes, owners and
their dogs are generally ready (but not required) to test-out to the next
class level. Test-outs are conducted as soon as you are ready after the
required 8 classes. At the end of each Test-Out, we offer CGC testing
for our Graduates.
Group Class Orientation
You must first attend a 1 hour Group Class
Orientation without your dog before beginning Group Classes. This required
class will cover information necessary to prepare you for our unique
'Rolling Enrollment' Group Classes. We will discuss training terms and
equipment, dog behavior and socialization, and class structure so that you
are able to jump into classes right away. You will also receive a packet
with two informative books. After attending the Orientation, puppies under
six months will enter into Puppy Classes, and dogs six months and older will
enter into Basic Obedience & Etiquette Class.
Observe a Group Class free of charge!
We are the only dog training facility in
North Carolina to offer this opportunity. This is an ideal way to get a feel
for the teaching style and receive feedback from other students.
No
aggressive dogs will be allowed in group class. Please seek in-school
training or private instruction if your dog is aggressive towards people, or
other dogs.
